The concept behind the lamp come from a classic Chinese poetry: "Over the sea the moon shines bright; we gaze at it far, far apart." It evokes the recollect of the moon, water, and wind - shiny on the inside and reflection on the outside - the refined contrast between the diffused light and the shiny paint transforms into an evocative synthesis for reflected light.
The combination of flowing curves and organic surface create an interesting reflection of the surrounding environment.
The Crescent light fitting shade is made from opal glass in matt finish with LED source. The reflector of Crescent is formed by bending a pre-anodized aluminum sheet that has been sheared.
